High-Frequency Foreign Exchange Trading On the Rise In Asia Pacific

(Global Custodian) – Algorithmic and high-frequency foreign exchange trading is on the rise in Australia and across Asian markets, according to First Derivatives, a provider of software and consulting services to the capital markets industry.

The rise in foreign exchange high-frequency trading follows on after the rise of algorithmic equities trading, and is seeing a number of banks in the region developing their electronic capabilities in response.
